As of April 17, 2022, we have once again joyfully resumed in-person worship services in our neighborhood!. We are so thankful for God's providence as we move back into the neighborhood just in time to celebrate Easter.
We will continue to use Zoom and livestream on Facebook if you are not yet comfortable with in-person indoor worship services. Please note our new service time Sundays at 4 pm.

Sunday & Friday Services
Church of the Redeemer gathers for worship as a congregation once a week: on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. We meet at the World Impact Teen Center located at 1613 W. 20th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007. We are so thankful for God's providence that has brought us back into the neighborhood. Services on Sunday are led by a dedicated group of preachers and pastors and are held in English and Spanish.
Services on Friday are lead by Pastor Carlos and are held in Spanish. We meet once a week at 7 p.m at the same location, the World Impact Teen Center located at 1613 W. 20th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007. After more than 2 years of being patiently waiting for God to provide us with a place to worship with our Spanish speaking community, we are overjoyed by the home that our Lord has found us to worship and pray in Spanish.
What to Expect
Through musical worship, proclamation of the Word, tithing, prayer and fellowship, we enter into God’s presence each week. All are welcome to attend. Since we live in a multiethnic community and the congregation itself is quite diverse, our worship services encompass a variety of styles. Gospel and Latin American elements are incorporated into our musical worship.
On Sunday, translation from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English s always available. We hope for Redeemer to be a welcoming place of worship for any and all in our community. Children’s church and youth church are usually also offered on Sunday mornings. These services are offered at the same time as our regular Sunday worship time and allow for children and youth to study the Bible through age-appropriate lessons and activities. Nursery care is also provided each Sunday for the youngest of our children. It is important to notice that during the summer the children's and youth church are on break.
Opportunities to Serve
There are many opportunities to serve in our worship services. The musical worship team, children’s church, youth church and nursery ministries are frequently looking for volunteers to use their gifts and abilities to serve. Additionally, several ministries work behind the scenes to ensure that our worship services can go as planned on Sunday and Saturday. The set-up team, audio/visual tech team and hospitality team make it possible for us to gather as we do on Sundays and Saturdays. If you are interested in serving in some capacity, please contact Pastor Kevin Blue and he will direct you to the relevant ministry leader.
